and Management Studies spares no efforts in imparting the
best technical education and also in inculcating discipline in the students, so
that they are trained as excellent engineers.
CLASS ROOM DISCIPLINE
The Institute works from 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m.
Students are required to be regular and punctual to the classes. They are
expected to be in the class at least 5 minutes before
the bell rings. Students should maintain perfect order and strict silence inside
the class room / drawing hall / laboratories / workshop.
Unnecessary movements from one bench to another bench should be avoided.
Movements out side the class room in between lectures should be minimum and for
valid reasons only. Students should be attentive, take notes and solve problems
in the class. They should bring calculator everyday and drawing instruments and
charts whenever needed. Observation note books should also be brought to the
laboratory classes regularly. Record of experiments done in practical class
should be submitted in the next practical class. Those who do not submit
assignments and record note books in time will not be eligible for attendance.
DRESS CODE
All the Students should wear clean and appropriate dress. Boys should wear full
pants with shirts tucked in. T-Shirts and other casuals are strictly prohibited.
In the institute they are expected to wear full-shoes. Girls should wear
chudidhars with duppata, and cut-shoes.
Students should wear lab overcoats for the laboratory classes.
GENERAL
The conduct of the students should be exemplary, not only within the premises of
the Institute but also outside. This will help in maintaining the prestige and
status of Institute. Students should have no objection if their parents /
guardians are contacted by the Principal regarding their indiscipline,
irregularity in attending classes, default in payment of fees and
poor performance or failure in
examinations, or other matter of concern. The institute will not defray any
expenses for the outstation educational tours. However, transport will be made
available for visits to local industries. With regard to outstation or local
tours the students may approach the concerned Head of the Department for
necessary preparations and organization . The
out-station or local tours should always be accompanied by teachers. The office
bearers of the Student Association are nominated on the basis of merit in the
University Examinations. No elections are permitted in the institution. Students
should inform any changes in the address of their parent / guardian to the
office of the institute. Students of the institute are not permitted to resort
to strikes and
demonstrations. Participation in any such activity shall automatically, result
in the dismissal from the institute . Any problems they
face can be represented to the concerned Head of the Department or Principal.
Students are expected to pay all the fees to the institute before the date as
notified by the office. Fees once paid will not be refunded. If any student
discontinues the course in the middle, he / she has to
pay the fees for the entire course. Students are expected to
use courteous
and polite language towards the members of the staff and conduct themselves with
decorum both inside and outside the institute .
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
A Student has to put in a
minimum of 75% of attendance in aggregate for all the subjects
attendance in
aggregate upto 10% (65% and above and below 75%) in each semester or I
year, may be granted by JNTU. Shortage of attendance below 65% in aggregate
shall in no case be condoned. A student will not be promoted to the next
semester unless he / she satisfies the attendance requirement of the present
semester / I year.

A student shall be promoted from
II to III year only if he fulfils the academic requirements of 56 credits from
the consecutive regular and supplementary examinations of I year and from the
regular examination
of II year I semester irrespective of whether the candidate
takes the examination or not.

A student shall be promoted from
II to III year only if he fulfils the academic requirements of
56 credits from one regular and
one supplementary examinations of I year, and one regular and one
supplementary examinations of II year I semester, and one regular examination
of II year II semester irrespective of whether the candidate takes the
examination or not.
