Introduction

In SITAMS The MBA Programme was Started in the Academic year 2000-2001 with an initial intake of 30. And later increased to 40 in 2001-2002. First Batch Students Graduated in 2002, which was Affiliated to S.V.University, Tirupathi. Later the Department was affiliated to JNT University from 2002 onwards with intake of 60 students.

• Activities:

he Department has conducted leadership training camps, Management Training Camps, National Level Paper Presentations, PMRY Training Programmes, Workshop on Problems and prospects of Fruit processing units, BG News etc. We conduct Business Quiz Programme Personality Development classes regularly to the Students. We also Conduct Regular Industrial Visits to students to various Industries. We provide Seminars and Guest Lectures regularly from Industry as well as Academia.

• Dress Code:

Our students follow strict dress code that is coming with Formal dress every day and Suit dress on every Monday.

• Industry - Institute Interaction:

We have association with various reputed Industries like M/s. Same Deutz Fahr(I)Pvt.Ltd., Ranipet, M/s. Nutrine Confectionery Company Pvt.Ltd., Chittoor, M/s. Jain Drip Irrigation, Chittoor, M/s.Amar Raja Batteries, Tirupathi etc., to provide practical exposure to the Students, in providing Guest Lectures, Industrial visits, Projects etc. We entered in to MOUs with reputed companies for Regular and Permanent Interaction.

The Department has 626 Titles and 2124 volumes of books in Central Library for MBA course during the short time and it is still adding books to the pool. The Department is subscribed with 10 National and International Magazines and also 28 National and International Journals. The Department is also maintaining 120 Books exclusively in the Departmental Library for the benefit of the Students.
