Computer Lab

This is used to develop software required for the College.
A dedicated software development center is established under the leadership of Dr. A. Kuppurajulu, Retd. Dean IIT (Madras) and present Vice-Chairman of SITAMS. The Software Development Centre has developed a comprehensive software called Academic Information Management System(AIMS) and includes the following modules:

To the best of our knowledge, ours is the first institution in the region with computerized library and academic information.

This lab is meant for all first years
Novel Netware Lab is equipped with Novel Netware technology and it helps the students in the development of
programs and applications in the programming fields of C,C++, COBOL, and Pascal.

This lab is meant for II, III & IV year of CSE & IT
Compter Lab –1 is equipped with Duel Core 1.80, 512MB, Windows XP with 70 Systems Linux server and is dedicated to implement the lab exercise in Visual programming, Multimedia software like Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop and Web Programming Tools.

This is meant for II,III&IV year of CSE & IT, MBA, MCA & Project work.
Multi Media Lab is set up in the college to enhance students’ with the following configuration:
(Core 2 Duo 2.0Mhz,512 MB, Windows XP Multimedia & Language Software with 65 Systems)

This lab is meant for II, III & IV year of CSE & IT
Windows and project Lab is dedicated to the growth of engineering profession with advance professional standards. In the lab in addition to the regular software, advanced multimedia software such as FLASH, SWISH, CORELDRAW are installed to develop projects based on multimedia applications, BSNL Broad Band(8 mbps) connected for internet facility is available from 8 am to 8 pm to the students and faculty members.

This lab is meant for all B.Tech, MBA and MCA Students.
English Language Lab consists Communication Lab using English i.e., Vocabulary, Phonetics, Conversations, Public Speaking etc.

This lab is meant for all first years
IT workshop is set up in the college to provide training to the students on P.C. Hardware, MS-Office, Latex,
Internet and Worldwide Web

Computer Lab-3 is set up in the college to enhance students’ with the following configuration:
(Core 2 Duo 2.0Mhz, 512 MB, Windows XP Multimedia & Language Software with 70 Systems)

This lab is meant for all Staff & Students
SITAMS has dedicated Internet connection round the clock with unlimited download capacity. 8 MBPS connection (1:1) from BSNL Broad Band. Totally 60 systems were provided in the Internet Centre for 8AM to 8PM.

The Digital library was added to main library during 2005. Digital library in SITAMS is well equipped with sufficient number of computers. It will have IEEE CD’s, e-books, e-manuals, e-magazines, e-classroom, learning CDS, etc -This is very good resource for all B.Tech students for their latest updates in technical knowledge. The digital library can be accessed during the library hours. The digital library has the facility of accessing on line journals like IEEE, IEI, IETE, ACM and searching of all technical papers. In developing digital library we have member-ship with DEL NET with 11 mbps RF links. DEL NET databases are hosted on a basic web-server provided by the Natural Informatics Centre.
