Our fundamental belief is that 'Growth is Life' and we have to continue to grow all times. The department has grown steadily over the years from an intake of just 40 students in 1998 to 60 students in 1999, 90 students in 2000 and currently 120 students in the undergraduate B.Tech programme to post graduate M.Tech programme in VLSI Design in 2006.
The department has 6 well-equipped Electronics Laboratories Viz. Electronics Devices & Circuits, Communications, Electronics Computer Aided Design, IC Applications, Pulse & Digital Circuits and Microprocessor & Micro controller Labs.
The future is full of limitless opportunities. The department is focused on building talent for the future. Therefore it has conceptualized to address the need for focused training in niche domains such as VLSI, DSP, Embedded Systems, Wireless Technologies etc.
The department also wants to bridge the gap between academecia and industry and in this direction we conduct programmes for Personality Development, Communication Skills, Group Discussions and Mockup Interviews. In association with leading industries we offer technical training and hands on experience in emerging technologies.
In academic performance we are standing on top Two in the region. Our products are well received by the industry and are represented in all top companies in India and also in foreign universities.
We believe that the department with its qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty has the capacity and the ability to emerge as significant player in the global competition. Continuing this tradition we are committed to constantly forge ahead to greater heights to make India a Super Power in the Knowledge era.
