Computer Lab Details

In order to enrich the knowledge of the students of Computer Science and Engineering, centralized complex of computer laboratories was established. It has the following facilities namely, 350 computers, licensed software with networking facilities, 11 tonne centralized A.C, 50KVA ON-Line UPS facility supported with 125KVA generated capacity.

• Novell Netware Lab, used by the students for programming practice and application development, consists of a server version of 5.0 with 60 nodes.
• Lab-I is equipped with Windows 2000 server with 60 nodes, all are connected under LAN. The Lab dedicated for UML, Advanced Unix Programming and Multimedia & Web applications.
• Lab-II is equipped with Windows 2000 server with 60 nodes and is available for DBMS, OOPs through Java and Advanced Data Structures applications.
• A Programming lab is equipped with windows 2000 server with 60 nodes is available for Computer Networks applications, Language Processor Programming and Project Work.
• IT workshop lab is equipped with 30 hardware kits and 30 CPUs for software programming and hardware practice.
• Two leased Lines (512Kbps each) Internet facility is made available for 90 Systems.
